New Look, New Dedication

As you can see the site has a new look.  Lots of changes.  I've tried to make it a slimmer, trimmer site so when you load it it doesn't take a week and a half to load onto your computer.   I've dropped a lot of bloat from the sidebars and redid the posts so they only show two days worth at a time.

A lot of the bloat I dropped from the sidebars were ads.  Two reasons, I think I went a little ad crazy and they weren't bringing in any income so they were just taking up space.  I've kept one or two ads and I plan to try and do some more grass roots ads.  In the next day or two I'll be writing more about how you as a band or singer or whoever can advertise on the site for a small amount of money.  I'm hoping this attracts some interested so the interested parties get some exposure and I can make some money.  Please whatever ads I do have on this site it would be nice for you to check out.  I spend a lot of time on this site and would like to spend even more time on it and if I was making some money from it it would make it easier.  Every little bit helps.  I don't talk about making money on this site often (almost never in fact) but it would be nice to show an income from the site.  If you don't like any of the ads you can always donate and I've kept that button to make it easy for you.

Another big change was taking the labels from the sidebar and putting it down at the bottom of the site.  I always hated how long the label box was but still thought it important to keep as a sort of index for artists on the site.  So I've dropped it to the bottom and am calling it an index now, just like what you find at the end of a book.  Let me what you think of it.

I've tried to keep things that I hope you find interesting and want to check out.  I've got a few more items that I do plan to add to the sidebar in the next few days.  This is an ongoing thing for the next couple days, so if you want to see something specific or you don't like something let me know and I'll see what I can do.

I'm planning on a new dedication to the site with the new look.  I plan on trying to post on more of a regular basis and introduce everyone to some great singers and bands.  That has always been the goal of this site and it's one I hope to continue.
