Simply Six: Trudell

1. For many artists, they cite a defining moment for themselves when they knew they wanted to be a singer. For many it was the appearance of Elvis on the Ed Sullivan show, to another generation it was the Beatles’ appearance on Sullivan half a decade later. Is there such a defining moment for you? 2. When you’re not creating music what are you listening to? Who are some of your favorites? Lupe, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Drake even myself. I listen to myself all the time just to grade myself and see in what ways I can be better. I feel like there's tons of room for improvement. 3. What would you say is your greatest moment so far as an artist, either on record or live? Haven't had that moment yet but when it comes you'll be the first I let know. 4. Do you believe music can change the world or is just something to listen to? How much can music influence current events? I think it can change people in which can lead to people changing the world. The world is made up of us as people. It should not be look at as some external being that makes its own decision. We influence the world and control which way it's headed. 5. How has technology affected the music industry? How has technology affected your career as a musician? Technology is the music industry. It's the world. The music industry has no other choice but to keep up because the world is changing because of technology. I think technology has just made me personally focus on the new available revenue streams that open up by the day. 6.
