| Biography: Born in Arizona and raised in Southern California, singer/songwriter and guitarist Tom Huebner resides in Marin County, California and fuses rock, folk, blues and country influences to craft his songs. Tom grew up loving the pop melodies and harmonies of bands like The Beatles and Byrds, as well as the blues-infused guitar riffs of artists like the Rolling Stones, The Allman Brothers and Eric Clapton. With the advent of the early 70's, his ear turned toward much of what was then happening in the L.A. and Northern California country-rock scenes with people and bands like Gram Parsons, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Poco, The Eagles, Neil Young, the Grateful Dead and classic country artists like Merle Haggard, Willy Nelson and Waylon Jennings. More recently acclaimed songwriters like Steve Earle, John Hiatt, Lucinda Williams and Dave Alvin round out his influences. Tom co-founded the Bay Area band Key Lime Pie with his long-time friend Evan Palmer in 1989 and was instrumental in the production of the group’s first independent release, entitled "Cookin’" in 2000. He left Music from Tom’s "Highway 43" release became part of the soundtrack for independent filmmaker Juli C. Lasselle’s 2006 picture release entitled, "Locked," a story set in the Sacramento River Delta about dark family secrets and Tom met singer Dottie Escue in 2006 and decided in 2007 to completely re-vamp his band to include Dottie’s powerful vocal presence and great musical instincts.
