Description:The Endless... is a Metal/Speed Punk blend out of Virginia. The Endless... is currently writing a rock opera and scheduling shows.

Bio:The Endless... formed in the summer of 2006 when guitarist Jeremy Counts, Drummer Blake Stanley, and Bassist Stephen Marney decided that they needed to play some fucking music. The three had jammed together throughout high school but had never had a fully assembled band so they turned to Jeremy's brother Zack Counts as a vocalist and beginning their journey. The band began playing cover songs in a cramped room above Jeremy and Zack's garage with a second guitarist Dustin Cumbo (now the vocalist of Faith of the Fallen). Things did not work out.
The Endless... soon joined forces with an old Jam Buddy named Cody Hutchinson and began to write their own music. Cody was an early driving force in the band and wrote such songs as "Logan" and "Demon Rider" which the band plays to this day.
The band then took the five songs they had written and played their first concert opening up for Aereopagus, a local band in which Jeremy and Zack's uncle Gavin Counts had sang lead vocals for. They had a great welcome and an even better finish.
Cody's work schedule as a Dickenson County Deputy soon took it's toll and he was unable to practice as much as needed. Yet again Things did not work out.
After Cody had left in 2007, Jeremy then took on much of the songwriting burden. This was an odd time for the band. Jeremy's alcoholism and depression had led him down a destructive path and in struggling to find himself he caused the band to question it's identity. It was during these times that Jeremy wrote two audience favorites "Diablo" and "Here I wait".
Soon the band found a backup vocalist and guitarist by the name of Eli Sutherland. Eli's schedule as a pharmacist however prevailed in the end and yet again another guitarist was lost. Eli now works as a pharmacist and was recently diagnosed with Liver Cancer. The band wishes him all the best.
In the confusion that ensued, the band then found Charles Anderson, arguably one of the best guitarists in the area. Eventually Charles did not work out due to differing creative issues and he eventually joined forces with Dustin Cumbo in Faith of the Fallen. Charles remains a close friend and still meets with Jeremy to party and discuss music and the direction their bands are going.
After yet another guitarist not working out, the band decided it was time to simply be a four piece. It was in this that they found their true nature and drive. They soon had thrown away twice as many songs as they currently play trying to perfect their sound.
Only after months of this did they decided it was time to put themselves out there and record a demo. They met with Aaron of On Trac Music in Wise, VA and the band Satellite Seven to record a demo. They chose Illusion's Chokehold (Written by drummer Blake Stanley), Here I Wait, The Temptress, The Joker, Winter Rose (Drunkenly written by bassist Stephen Marney), and Diablo to record. The EP's title is "The Regretful Events of My Birthday".
The Endless... has played in WV, VA, TN, NC, and KY. They are signed to A&R Promotions out of Los Angeles and have opened for bands like Straight Line Stitch and The Autumn Offering. They are to play with Mudvayne at LOCOFEST South '09.
The Endless... is currently scheduling shows so that their journey may continue...

Press Release:March 14, 2009

Virginia – Year: 2006 - This is a story of friends. From a small town in southwest Virginia, this group has now ascended to play alongside bands like Mudvayne, Nonpoint, (hed)PE, In This Moment, The Autumn Offering, and Straight Line Stitch. The fans have loved them.

Jeremy Counts, Blake Stanley and Stephen Marney used to jam together in high school. Back in those days they never had a fully assembled band, so they sought out help from Jeremy’s brother, Zack Counts, as a vocalist and began their infamous journey.

Jeremy Counts (guitar), Blake Stanley (drummer), Stephen Marney (Bassist) and vocalist, Zack Counts, now formed the group, “The Endless…”. They recorded their first demo in early 2008.

Their new single, “Diablo” was written during Jeremy’s path to recovery. The album EP is called “The Regretful Events of My Birthday”. The single focuses around the story of a lone warrior entering the pits of hell to slay a demon.

The music style of The Endless… is heavy metal. It is fast paced and gives you a true representation of what this group is all about. Deep, deep vocals, heavy bass, and heavy drums – very much reminiscent of past heavy metal groups like Metallica. But their sound is truly their own. It’s about time we resurrect heavy metal music to the way it once was.

This is The Endless…’s first EP. It has been released digitally for your listening pleasure. You need to listen to this one, even if you are not particularly a heavy metal fan. They bring up old sounds from the 90’s that we all miss. Bravo to The Endless… for not letting heavy metal slip away.
