THIS WEEK:

James Armstrong & Roy Trevino

Sit On The Couch

James Armstrong

James Armstrong's mother was a blues singer and his father played jazz guitar.  James started performing at the age of eight and by the time he was 17, he was touring across the country.
Blues At The Border is his first album in 11 years, since he garnered two Blues Music Award Nominations for his albumGot It Going On.
What has James' life been like since then, how was recording this new album and what are his plans moving forward.  We will discuss those things and listen to select cuts from the new album.

Roy Trevino

Then Roy Trevino takes his seat on The Couch.
Roy is a South Texas-based blues guitarist/singer who released his debut self-titled CD on Troubadour Records, produced by Grammy-winner Jim Gaines.
Roy studied guitar under Ronnie Earl around the same time as Sean Costello.
How did he get to this place and what are his plans for the future?  We will find out together while we check out tunes from the debut album.
