Biography: Kenny Texeira (pronounced: Tex-era) hails from Western Massachusetts. After relocating to Hollywood in early 1991, Kenny found himself writing and performing theme songs for motion pictures. His prowess guitar work can also be heard on countless CD’s, TV commercials, and TV shows worldwide, as he has been recording in various studios from coast to coast for over 25 years. Tex has performed over 500 live shows in his career, and has released 2 CD’s as a solo artist; 1997’s “Rock ‘n’ Roll or Bust” and 1999’s “Turn it Up!” (with former David Lee Roth drummer Gregg Bissonette). In the summer of 2007, he Executive Produced his first DVD “Rock Asylum”, and followed that up with 2008’s “Rated R”. In December of 2009, he released his 3rd DVD “No Fear”. And now in January of 2012, Tex releases his 4th DVD entitled “Maximum Overdrive”. It contains the 2 brand new music videos “I’m Coming For You” and “You’ll Be Mine”.
Press Release: Kenny’s 4th DVD “Maximum Overdrive” contains 2 brand new music videos, a ‘behind the scenes’ look at making the videos, and a bonus section that contains more than 50 still photos from the film sets! The videos were Directed by Douglas Elford-Argent (Storage Wars, The Brazen Bull), and the audio was mastered by Grammy award winner Evren Goknar (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Poison, Megadeath). Kenny & his band play dual roles in the hilarious music video “I’m Coming For You”, co-starring actresses Amanda Majkrzak & Lira Kellerman. Tex also shines in the beautiful acoustic “You’ll Be Mine” video, that was filmed on a quintessential Southern California beach at sunset. These 2 brand new music videos are Kenny’s best to date!
