JT LAURITSEN
Jan Tore Lauritsen, (JT for short) is 42 years old living in Lillestrom, Norway.
He began playing at the early age of 6 and pretty much immediately got interested in the Blues and related music after first hearing BB King, Charles Brown and Ray Charles.
After realizing the B3 was too much to lug constantly, JT took up the Accordion and has been making some great blues music since.
JT has spent much time here in the US winning fans and was part of the Beale Street Mess-Around during BMA week.
His album is entitled Squeezeboxing and we will chat with JT about his life and career and check out the album.

Picks To ClickAugust 18, 2012 (Past Guests are linked to their appearances) Good Day All –
Thanks this week to Candye Kane and her wonderful band members for dropping by and recording 5 tunes for us.
We will have those remixed in the next couple of weeks and we can’t wait.
I got note for Kathy Kane that Jimmy McCracklin, who turned 91 last week, was feeling poorly and his daughter Sue thought if folks wrote in notes to Jimmy that it would help cheer him up.
Sue did an interview with me last week and folks are writing Jimmy. If you would like to drop a note, you can use either Post Office or e-mail. Here are the addresses:
